Christmas Rose

This hardy evergreen perennial that likes shade to part shade adn grows 12-15" tall. Best to plant it under a deciduous tree so it can get soem winter sun. It is hardy for USDA Zones 6-9. You can plant it any time as long as the ground is not frozen. It likes well draining, but moist soil. Water sufficiently in witner when buds are growing; mulch to preserve moisture. It will tolerate dryness and warmer conditions once estalished. In the spring remove any damaged stalks.
